The Christmas Fair on Saturday 3rd December was, to the relief of all the outdoor helpers, a lot warmer than the previous year. Many people came to enjoy the fun, and spent lots of time and money at the Fair. Over £8,500 was eventually raised which will be split equally between the school and the church. Everyone worked their socks off and we owe an enormous vote of thanks to the church Events Committee as well as the FOSP Committee at St Peter’s School.

In 2012  we are planning a different and earlier event to get you all in the seasonal mood. Look out for our Oktoberfest…in October!

LUNCH CLUB

The Christmas Lunch Club on Saturday 10th December was a great success. The volunteer catering team, headed by Andrew and Cynthia Sparke, somehow managed to provide an extraordinarily lavish home-cooked festive meal for over 40 people as well as wine, music and good fellowship. Crackers were pulled, party hats worn and awful jokes exchanged. The old and the young dined together in very good spirits and we hope we have gained a few more members for this increasingly popular group.
