Who’s who

Charles was born in Scotland, and brought up there and in South Africa. He studied architecture, history, economics, and theology in Manchester, Sheffield, Durham and New York, and completed a PhD on the relationship between theology and economics. He worked for two years as an Advice Worker in inner-city Birmingham, spent twelve years in parish ministry in Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent, and four years as a university chaplain in Keele, before moving to St Peters in 2015.

Charles is married with two children, and his passions include philosophy, music and decent coffee. You can listen to his SERMONS here.
